Dr. Theresa Hoang is a native of Kansas where she attended Kansas State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she was accepted into the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her doctorate.
While in school she served in numerous leadership positions, including serving as class representative for her peers three years in a row. Furthermore, she was inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society which recognizes upperclassmen who demonstrated outstanding professional and ethical attitude through leadership and service to their class, college, and profession.

Following graduation, Dr. Hoang was accepted into a post-doctorate residency program at Omni Eye Specialists, specializing in ocular diseases and ocular surgery management in Denver. During this residency, she worked and learned from numerous ophthalmologists in specialties such as cataracts, cornea, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and retina to further expand her knowledge of ocular diseases and co-management of ocular surgeries. With this knowledge, Dr. Hoang hopes to better serve the Castle Rock community.
Dr. Hoang is committed to serving the community through providing vision screenings with different organizations and is involved in her church. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association and served as the president of the Young Professionals Committee in 2023. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese. In her spare time, Dr. Hoang enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and goldendoodle, Daisy!
